Viva Magenta IV

Magenta is the Pantone color of the year 2023. I took this as an opportunity to paint a series of paintings based on the color magenta. I worked on an Indian Khadi paper. It is an abstract, flat painting with the color in the foreground . Magenta mixed with white in different shades. There is also an orange  and red tone and some neutrals. Various fine and stronger elements with China marker and pastel chalk give the painting liveliness. The color magenta represents idealism and gratitude.
The painting is framed in a simple, plastic-coated white wooden frame. Dimensions: 20x30cm
