There are many possibilities in acrylic painting with which you can give the surface of a painting a three-dimensional structure. In the picture "On the jump" (50 x 60cm on canvas) I used soft gel with plastic beads and pasty oil paint. I painted the bead gel after it dried. For the oil paint, I worked with the palette knife and applied the oil paint piece by piece on the canvas. The areas with the three-dimensional structure give the whole picture a special tension and depth. You will find more information about the painting here.
